Today we did a workout called “JonesCrawl”. It was somewhat fitting I suppose because today was our final day of training with Josh and next week we begin training at Gym Jones. We always knew that Josh’s time in SLC would be temporary but it’s still a bummer to see him go. Good luck and god’s speed my man!

Day 35 – July 31, 2009
Warm up with…
10x 16kg KB swing + hip flexor stretch
10x 16kg KB swing + hip flexor stretch
10x 20kg KB swing + hip flexor stretch
10x 24kg KB swing + hip flexor stretch
Then…
I go/You go with plenty of rest between sets
10 x 30kg dead lift
3 sets
7 x 40kg dead lift
3 sets
5 x 60kg dead lift
2 sets
3 x 70kg dead lift
2 sets
3 x 80kg dead lift
2 sets
Then…
“Jones Crawl” – light version
10 x 80kg dead lift (full version is 115% of body weight or 115kg for Matt)
25 jumps to 20″ box (full version is 24″ box)
3 sets consecutive

Today also marks thirteen weeks since we started our workouts. My weight is now at 225lbs, putting my weight lost at roughly 25lbs. Here’s a new round of comparison photos.
