**How do you get a great workout with two 25lb DBs and two 50lb DBs? You do the “Cockeyed Josh”!**

**Day 29 – July 15, 2009**

Warm up with…

DB complex with one 25lb DB:

10 x squat press (5 each arm)

30m waiter’s walk (1/2 right 1/2 left)

10 x Turkish get up (5 each arm) (Matt did 1/2 TGUs)

30m waiter’s walk (1/2 right 1/2 left)

10 x snatch (5 each arm)

30m waiter’s walk (1/2 right 1/2 left)

10 x goblet squat

Then…

“The Cockeyed Josh”

DB complex with a 50lb DB in the left hand and a 25lb DB in the right hand:

7 x clean (ground to rack)

5 x front squat

3 x jerk (push press)

4 sets (rest while partner goes)(swap the DBs between hands each set)

Then…

20 x push press with two, 25lb DB

50lb DB swing until partner finishes his push presses

3 sets

Then…

400m walk to cool down

The work with one 50lb and one 25lb does all sorts of weird things to your body. I’m guessing from the pain in my back and gut that you use the abs/obliques/back muscles a lot more to compensate for the offset load. Strangely enough there is no real tendency for the lighter arm to go up faster…
